Building Empowered Teams

As product leaders, if we want to build great teams, we need to do more than assign tasks and deadlines. We need to create a culture of ownership that empowers and accountables our team.

Three areas we need to look at as we lead others include:

  1. Are they given a meaningful, hard problem to solve for the business and its customers?
  2. Do they have a clear objective?
  3. Do they know what success looks like, and are they committed to achieving it?

How can we help create this sort of team as we lead tomorrow?
