Why is humility critical to sustained innovation?

Invariably when you join a new company or take on a new role, you go through a season where your previous experience can help take your team or company to the next level. But eventually, that runs out. Eventually, you need to be humble and admit it’s time to go back into the learning, testing, failing, and adapting cycle.
When we aren’t humble as a leader, we blindly lead in the same direction, even when a new direction is needed to reach the next level.
